Job summary

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Cancer Pathway Coordinator to provide essential administra­tive support to the Cancer Services Team. The role focuses on tracking patients to national targets, assisting MDT coordinators, and ensuring timely flow of diagnostic results for MDT reviews.

Key duties include supporting the cancer service team with data for waiting times, liaising with departments and other hospitals, and providing general administration for Cancer MDT meetings

Qualifications

• 1 year office administration experience.
• Good standard of education 5 GCSEs or above.
• Experience of working in a healthcare setting.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Excel.
• Evidence of strong written and communication skills.
• Knowledge of hospital based computer systems (e.g., HIVE).

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Track patients to national targets and advise on patient transfers.
• Support Cancer MDT Coordinators and take minutes for MDT meetings.
• Attend weekly Cancer PTL meetings and respond to enquiries from the cancer team.
