Job summary

CAMS is seeking a Field-based Business Development Manager to drive growth across the West Midlands. This role focuses on engaging with cycle retailers, industry brands and professionals to raise awareness and expand CAMS services, with a company car and commission structures in place.

You will visit potential clients, nurture relationships, and represent CAMS as the face of the brand in the region, helping cyclists access the justice they deserve after non-fault accidents.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years sales experience.
  • A sales-driven, energetic, sociable and proactive personality, with the confidence and determination to approach new contacts and create opportunities
  • A passion for cycling is important, but this must be matched by a clear passion for sales, business development and building relationships
  • Ability to communicate at all levels in an influential and persuasive manner
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets
  • Excellent selling skills built on trust a reliability
  • A full UK driving license
  • In depth knowledge of the cycle industry in your area
  • Knowledge and contacts in the cycling racing scene in your area
  • Knowledge of the cycling accident management industry
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry and processes

  • Acquire and maintain a thorough knowledge of the industry and our service

Important: This is first and foremost a sales role. A passion for cycling is important, but we are looking for someone who is sales-driven, energetic, sociable, proactive and commercially hungry, with a genuine go-getter attitude and a passion for winning new business.

As a Business Development Manager at CAMS, you’ll play a crucial role in driving our business forward by developing new relationships and maintaining existing ones. Your focus will be on engaging with cycle retailers, industry brands, and professionals to raise awareness and grow our business.

This is a field-based sales role, equipped with a company car, allowing you to visit potential clients and partners. You’ll be the face of CAMS in the West Midlands helping local bike shops deliver our unique 5-star service to their customers and ensuring cyclists receive the support they need after an accident. This role offers significant job satisfaction, knowing you’re helping cyclists access the justice they deserve.

This is a performance-driven role with industry-leading commission, bonus, and benefits schemes.
