Job summary

Nottingham Trent University is seeking a Security Officer to safeguard students, staff and visitors while maintaining a safe campus environment. The role involves shift work on campus, a 37-hour week plus overtime, and a requirement to hold an SIA licence (Door Supervisor and CCTV) with training available if needed.

Qualifications

• SIA Door Supervisor and CCTV Operator Licence required on commencement or training provided.
• Must be computer literate withMicrosoft Office (Outlook/Word/Teams/Excel).
• Nottingham Trent University operates 365 days a year; shift rota; on-campus full-time work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality customer experience and outstanding service to students, staff, visitors and the estate.
• Contribute to safety and security across the campus and estate.
• Work as part of the Security team and respond to incidents promptly.
• Be on campus full-time; on a 37-hour week with 5 hours overtime; no hybrid working.
