Vigilant Security is recruiting for a Campus Security Officer on a mid shift at Fareham College. The role is full time, 08:30-14:30 (potential review to 08:00-16:00) with occasional holiday cover. You will be part of a 3-officer team, ensuring security, visitor welcome, and incident recording. A DS minimum SIA license and a valid driving license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current SIA license (DS minimum).
• Driver's license desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide a prompt, polite and warm welcome to all visitors.
• Anticipate needs and ensure expectations are met and exceeded.
• Be seen as a visible customer-focused professional greeting and engaging with visitors.
• Provide a consistent professional service at all times.
• Communicate visitor arrivals to the relevant person promptly.
• Maintain high security awareness at all times.
• Undertake patrols and inspections in line with management instructions.
• Proficient use of relevant communications equipment and strong written/verbal skills.
• Ensure adherence to H&S policies and prevent unauthorised access.
• Issue visitor passes using agreed processes and maintain incident records.
