Job summary

Corps Security is seeking an SIA licensed Security Officer to cover client premises across Camberley and Slough, with day, night, weekend and bank holiday shifts. You will be trained to support holiday and sickness cover with a view to fixed shifts, joining a company that values internal progression and development.

You will work across multiple sites, maintaining high standards of security, reporting, and customer service. Full UK driving license or reliable transport is preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
• Full UK Driving Licence and own vehicle or reliable transport.
• Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards.
• A valid SIA Front-Line License – essential.
• A valid SIA CCTV License – desirable.
• Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g. Excel).

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall surveillance of the site, carrying out regular site patrols and recording these as per Corps and Customer requirements.
• Ensure all visitors and contractors to site are correctly briefed, sign in and out of the site.
• Record the entry and exit of deliveries whilst on site, including processing of paperwork in line with site quality procedures.
• Carry out patrols to required standards and respond to incidents.
• Set and unset primary and secondary alarm systems for out-of-hours security provision if applicable.
• Complete documentation such as daily occurrence logs, shift handovers and site reports.
• Maintain training records and ensure first aid and fire marshal training is up to date.
