Job summary

UPP is offering a permanent, part-time Post Room Assistant role onsite at Reading University. The role runs Monday to Friday with some weekend work, and the salary is £12.98 per hour. You will deliver a flexible, efficient post room service for students living in halls of residence.

Responsibilities include handling mail, keeping records, notifying residents, keeping the area tidy, and assisting with reception duties when needed. Flexibility for extra hours during peak arrivals is expected.

• Secure receipt, sorting, distribution and management of mail parcels for residents and staff.
• Maintain and update records and registers (manual and computerised).
• Notify residents and staff of post appropriately.
