Job summary

A higher education provider is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to maintain, install, and refurbish buildings and equipment across their UK campuses. Responsibilities include preventive and reactive maintenance, adherence to health and safety regulations, and project planning. Ideal candidates will have relevant electrical certifications, practical building maintenance experience, and a proactive attitude. Qualifications

• Must hold 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
• Have City & Guilds Level 2 and/or Level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent.
• Prior experience in building maintenance including M&E systems required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, install, and refurbish fabric and equipment across UK estates.
• Monitor condition of buildings and undertake repairs and renovations.
• Assist with planning of refurbishment projects.

Skills

18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification

City & Guilds Level 2 and/or Level 3 in Electrical Installations

Building maintenance experience including M&E systems

Manual skills and knowledge of refurbishment techniques

Flexible and proactive approach

Familiarity with COSHH requirements

Interpersonal skills

Full, Clean Driving Licence
