Surrey is recruiting for an enthusiastic post and logistics assistant to join our busy team across two campuses in Guildford. You will receive, sort and deliver mail and parcels, support with the locker system and assist with reception duties during peak times.

Excellent customer service, strong organisation, and team collaboration are essential. A full UK driving licence is required, and occasional weekend work may be needed throughout the year.

Qualificações

• Experience of, or an interest in, post, mailroom, reception, logistics or customer service work.
• Strong customer service focus with a professional, approachable manner.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail when handling mail and parcels.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities; flexibility to support post and logistics.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Physically fit to handle lifting and moving parcels and equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Receiving, sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing mail and parcels.
• Delivering post, parcels and other items to departments and locations across the University.
• Processing items into the University's internal locker system.
• Providing a high level of customer service to colleagues, students, suppliers and visitors.
• Maintaining accurate and efficient post-handling processes.
• Responding to queries about deliveries and supporting post-related requests.
• Supporting the post team on reception during busy periods.
• Helping to move goods, equipment and supplies throughout the University.
• Responding to requests for furniture or equipment relocation within the premises.
• Ensuring the safe handling and transport of waste, including furniture, electrical items, food recycling and confidential waste.
• Driving University vehicles.
