Job summary

The University of Law in Manchester is seeking a Campus Hub Manager to lead the Campus Hub team and deliver an outstanding student-focused experience on site.

You will coordinate inductions, events and enrolment activities, manage day-to-day operations, and drive service standards across opening hours to meet SLAs and KPIs. This permanent role requires strong leadership, customer-service excellence, and a commitment to an inclusive campus community.

Qualifications

  • Experience in management or team leadership in a customer service environment.
  • Knowledge of workload planning, resourcing and performance monitoring.
  • Ability to deliver a student-centred, inclusive experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the planning of student inductions at campus level, liaising with academic and non-academic stakeholders along with Timetabling to ensure that induction timetables meet the needs of students on campus.
  • Oversee delivery of a diverse events programme on campus to aid a sense of community throughout the student body. This will include inductions associated welcome events, Freshers' Fair, a variety of cultural and wellbeing events as well as oversee the operations of exams that take place on site.
  • Ensure the Campus Hub is adequately resourced during service opening hours to enable service standards and associated SLAs and KPIs being met and maintained throughout the year.
  • Oversee in person student enrolment and registration (including late starters), liaising with Registry services to ensure compliance with procedures and ensuring a positive welcome experience for all students.
  • Report campus level trends and insights to the Head of Campus Hubs and track and drive attendance/participation for all events.

Job description

At The University of Law, our students are at the heart of everything we do. We’re now looking for a Campus Hub Manager to join our Student Enquiries & Campus Services team in our Manchester campus and play a central role in delivering an outstanding, student-focused campus experience.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, ensuring that students receive fast, accurate and friendly support for a range of queries in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Being student facing, you will be coordinating the delivery of campus-based student events that foster a sense of community among our students. You will provide positive leadership, management, motivation and support to the Campus Hub Team.

This is a permanent position based at our Manchester campus with no opportunity of hybrid/remote working. From time to time, there may be a requirement for occasional weekend working based on business needs.

Is this you?
  • Experience of management or team leadership in a customer service focussed environment
  • Knowledge of operational management, including workload planning, resourcing and performance monitoring
  • Experience of organising or coordinating events, ideally aimed at students, such as inductions, fairs or wellbeing activities
  • Strong organisational and planning skills — able to manage multiple priorities, services, and events simultaneously
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to ensure consistency and compliance in service delivery
  • Commitment to delivering a student centred, inclusive, and high-quality experience
