Job summary

Brunel University London on the Uxbridge Campus is recruiting a Buildings and Facilities Supervisor. Reporting to the Operations and Facilities Manager, you will lead a team of semi-skilled staff, coordinate reactive maintenance, triage defects and ensure compliance in residential buildings to support an outstanding student experience.

The role offers a hybrid working approach, a Grade 6 salary with London Weighting, generous leave and pension, and a permanent full-time contract.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate will have trade/maintenance knowledge and relevant qualifications.
• Experience with Planon CAFM is advantageous.
• Ability to communicate positively and work well in a small team is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the semi-skilled reactive maintenance and triage of defects.
• Manage day-to-day reactive maintenance response and allocation.
• Oversee planned preventive work and statutory compliance.
• Assist in minor works and some larger projects.
