Teaching Vacancies is seeking Facilities Assistants to join the Estates team at Park Lane Campus. The role involves shift patterns on a rota basis during term time and out of term time, supporting building operations and safety.

You will work with the Facilities Supervisor in day-to-day site management, ensuring a safe, clean and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in a customer service role with responsibilities that include opening/closing buildings and basic security.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• GCSE English and Maths or equivalent required.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience in basic maintenance or DIY tasks is advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Carry out minor maintenance tasks across the site, including cleaning, waste management, grounds maintenance, and seasonal duties.
• Move furniture and equipment to support classes, events, exams, and site moves.
• Work with the Estates team to deliver safe, clean, and welcoming environments.
• Engage with students to promote safety and appropriate behaviour, using restorative approaches when needed.
• Carry out security duties including guarding, patrolling, access control, and CCTV monitoring.
• Liaise with on-site contractors and visitors to ensure compliance.
