The University of Leicester is looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee university-wide Facilities Management operations. The role includes ensuring compliance, enhancing customer service, and managing relationships with service providers. A strong background in facilities management, finance, and customer service is essential.
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our Estates and Campus Services department. Reporting to the Head of Campus Facilities, you will oversee the efficient delivery of university-wide Facilities Management operations, including gardens, sports grounds, external areas, and associated FM services for both academic and residential estates.
Your responsibilities will include coordinating operational activities to ensure safe, high-quality, customer-focused services across the estate, positively impacting the customer experience. Additionally, you will ensure all service delivery complies with legislation, local authority regulations, and service level agreements.
You should have prior experience in a similar role within a relevant establishment. You must be confident in defining, agreeing, and monitoring standards for facilities service delivery and developing effective relationships between service providers and stakeholders. A strong understanding of finance and customer service is essential, along with experience managing budgets, projects, teams, and service delivery.
