The University of Leicester seeks an experienced facilities manager to enhance facilities operations across campus. About the role
We are looking for an experienced facilities manager to join our Estates and Campus Services department. Reporting to the Head of Campus Facilities, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective day-to-day delivery of a range of university-wide Facilities Management operations, including gardens, sports grounds, external areas, and associated FM services for the academic and residential estate. This will include ensuring that all operational activities are coordinated to provide safe, quality, customer-focused services across the Estate and throughout the University, positively impacting the customer experience. You will also ensure that all service delivery complies with legislation, local authority regulations, and service level agreements.
About you
With previous experience in a similar role within a relevant establishment, you should be confident in defining, agreeing, and monitoring standards of facilities service delivery. You should be able to develop positive and effective links between service providers and key stakeholders. A strong awareness of finance and customer service is essential, along with experience managing budgets, projects, teams, and service delivery.
