Job summary

University of Cumbria is seeking a Campaign & Content Assistant to join the Marketing & Recruitment team. You will help deliver marketing campaigns and communications that attract prospective students and strengthen the University's reputation.

You’ll create engaging content across digital channels, coordinate campaigns, and support reporting and evaluation while assisting with events, photography and video projects. This role requires creativity, organisation and strong communication.

Qualifications

  • Good digital and IT skills with a proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

As a Campaign & Content Assistant, you will join our Marketing & Recruitment team, supporting the delivery of marketing campaigns and communications that inspire prospective students and strengthen the University's reputation.

You will support the delivery of marketing, recruitment and communication campaigns that help attract prospective students and enhance the University's profile. Working within the Campaign & Content team, you'll assist with creating and publishing engaging content across a range of digital channels, including social media, web and email. You'll help coordinate marketing activity, maintain digital content, support campaign reporting and evaluation, and contribute to events, photography and video projects. The role also includes providing administrative support, managing marketing assets and working collaboratively with colleagues across the University to ensure campaigns are delivered effectively and on schedule.

You will be an organised, enthusiastic and creative individual with a keen interest in marketing, communications and digital engagement. With excellent written communication skills and strong attention to detail, you'll be comfortable creating content and working across a variety of projects simultaneously. You will have good digital and IT skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. Experience within a marketing or communications environment would be advantageous, along with an interest in social media, content creation, analytics and digital marketing tools. Most importantly, you'll bring energy, curiosity and a willingness to learn as part of a collaborative and supportive team.
