Job summary

Pennine Care NHS FT in Tameside and Glossop CAMHS Springleigh Clinic is seeking a Mental Health Practitioner for a fixed-term 12-month role in the CAMHS access and assessment team. You will triage new referrals and assess young people, forming treatment plans within safeguarding legislation and local policies.

The role demands autonomous work within a multi-disciplinary team, strong risk assessment, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• NMC nursing or social work registration required.
• Significant post-qualification experience in community mental health services.
• RMN or Social Work Pin is required.
• Ability to assess and formulate treatment plans and manage risk within CAMHS.

Responsibilities

• Undertake triage of new referrals and assessments in CAMHS access and assessment.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment within professional guidelines using routine outcome measures.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team and partner services to improve access to care.
• Build links with colleagues across teams and agencies to support young people.
