The Ashford Community Children and Young People’s Mental Health Service within Kent and Medway NHS Trust invites applications for a 12-month fixed-term post. The role focuses on a caseload of children, young people and families, with school and community assessments and early interventions under senior clinical supervision.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of graduate training in nursing, social work or occupational therapy, or equivalent
• Eligible for registration as a full member of HCPC or NMC

Responsabilités

• Deliver clinical interventions within individual care pathways, supervised by Care Pathway Workers or a senior psychological practitioner
• Manage a defined caseload under the supervision of a senior clinician
• Routinely measure clinical outcomes and deliver evidence-based interventions in line with CYP-IAPT
• Carry out initial school-based and community assessments and deliver early interventions for emotional and psychological difficulties
• Promote the mental and emotional health of children, young people and families in the community
• Provide direct, less stigmatising support to children, young people and families within clinical governance
• Take an active part in the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of care within the multidisciplinary team
• Communicate clinical findings clearly and effectively
• Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives
• Promote best practice, patient safety and positive service user experience
