Job summary

Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health Care NHS Trust is seeking a CAMHS Senior Practitioner to join the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service at Worcestershire Royal Hospital. You will contribute to delivering high-quality, community-based mental health care with a multidisciplinary team, focusing on assessment, planning and person-centred care for children, young people and families.

Qualifications

• Current professional registration with a recognised clinical qualification (NMC, HCPC, Social Work England, or equivalent).
• Post-registration experience in CAMHS or mental health including assessment, risk management, and therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive specialist assessments and risk assessments with personalised care plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions through individual, family, and group sessions.
• Act as the key worker for an allocated caseload and coordinate patient pathways.
• Produce accurate clinical documentation including assessments, treatment reports and discharge summaries.
• Provide clinical services across settings including hospitals, community facilities, schools and patients' homes.
