NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is seeking a Band 6 Learning Disability Nurse to join the CAMHS Learning Disability Team. You will provide specialist LD nursing support across Tier 3 CAMHS, collaborating with multidisciplinary partners to deliver high quality, person-centred care for children and young people and their families.

Qualifications

• Registered LD nurse with current NMC registration
• Experience with children and young people and families in LD, mental health or neurodevelopmental services
• Excellent communication and partnership working skills

Responsabilités

• Provide specialist LD nursing assessment, intervention and support for children and young people with complex needs
• Work within CAMHS teams to deliver person-centred care
• Carrying out holistic and risk assessments and care planning
• Develop therapeutic relationships with children, young people and families to promote engagement and positive outcomes
• Provide specialist advice and support to CAMHS colleagues and partner agencies
