Job summary

Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust invites a CAMHS Staff Nurse to join the Poplar Adolescent Unit in Rochford, Essex. The post focuses on assessments and treatment for young people aged 13–18 with mental health needs, working within a multidisciplinary team to plan care and support recovery.

You will engage in care planning, risk assessment and delivery of evidence‑based, compassionate care, with opportunities for CAMHS training and development within a supportive trust.

Qualifications

• Registered Mental Health Nurse with degree or diploma is required.
• Understanding of mental health law and legislation.
• Experience in a mental health setting post‑registration is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat children and adolescents in CAMHS inpatient settings.
• Develop care plans, risk assessments and positive behaviour support plans.
• Collaborate with the therapy team and MDT to support recovery.
