Job summary

Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust in Ipswich invites applications for a Consultant Psychiatrist in the CAMHS Ipswich team. The 1.5 WTE post offers job sharing and flexible working and is based at Walker Close, Ipswich.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to assess and manage 0–18-year-olds with complex mental health presentations, contributing to service development andInnovation within CAMHS.

Qualifications

• Entry on GMC Register.
• Approved Clinician Status.
• Section 12(2) approval under the Mental Health Act.
• Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCST.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment and formulation for new referrals for 0–18 with complex mental health presentations.
• Maintain a caseload and oversee medication and treatment plans for young people.
• Deliver clinical care across Trust settings, including home visits where appropriate.
• Contribute to quality improvement and service development under i-THRIVE.
