Job summary

Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is inviting a Consultant Psychiatrist to join the Community CAMHS team in Launceston, North Cornwall. The post supports leaders, trainers, and researchers while delivering high-quality psychiatric care to children and adolescents.

Qualifications

• CCT or equivalent in CAMHS Psychiatry.
• Full GMC Registration and license.
• Eligibility for Section 12 and AC Approval.
• Inclusion (or eligibility for inclusion) on the specialist or specialty Trainee within 6 months of gaining CCT.
• Experience in teaching at post-graduate and/or undergraduate level.
• Audit and/or research experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the CAMHS clinical service and support multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure effective communication with referring and receiving teams and Primary care.
• Contribute to service development and strategic direction with the service manager.
• Support medical trainees and advanced clinical practitioners as part of the leadership team.
