Job summary

Choices and Rights Disability Coalition is seeking a Personal Assistant in the HU6 area to support a 7-year-old child with behavioural difficulties. The PA should be calm, patient and outgoing, building a positive relationship and helping the child access activities in the community.

The role requires clear communication, comfort with quiet reassurance in changing plans, and energy to engage in outdoor activities while promoting independence and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Calm, patient and outgoing Personal Assistant who can build a positive relationship with the child.

Responsibilities

• Support the child to access community activities and outings.
• Promote confidence, independence and wellbeing during activities.
• Provide reassurance when plans change and help with routine and schedules.
• Ensure the child understands what will happen and where they are going.
