Job summary

Illinois Tool Works Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide on-site technical support across the country, performing calibration and sensitivity testing of customers' inline inspection equipment.

The role requires strong electrical/electronic skills, a relevant qualification (BTEC/ONC/HNC), a full driving licence, good communication, and a customer-focused approach; willingness to travel and work overtime/on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• Good Technical Electrical / Electronics skills.
• Minimum BTEC/ONC/HNC or similar qualification in electromechanical / electrical engineering.
• Ideally experience in a field service role and familiar with all aspects of customer service.
• Good PC literacy.
• Good Organisation skills orientated around reliably delivering what is promised.
• Good methodical approach to problem solving.
• Full current driving licence.
• Good communication skills.
• Good customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• To be part of the on-call standby rota system as required.
• Must be prepared to learn a diverse set of products and continually improve your product knowledge.

You will be responsible for calibration and Sensitivity Testing Loma equipment on customers sites.
