Job summary

Hunter Selection seeks a multi-skilled Service & Maintenance Engineer to service, calibrate, maintain and repair specialist equipment at customer sites and in workshops across the UK and Europe. The role combines field service with internal maintenance and offers long-term career development.

You will hold an electrical qualification, perform diagnostics, and communicate effectively with customers while travelling as required. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical engineering qualification or equivalent.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities.
• Methodical approach with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing manner.

Responsibilities

• Service, calibration, fault finding and repair of electrical and electro-mechanical equipment.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Build, test and commission equipment.
• Install and support equipment at customer sites.
• Produce and review service and calibration documentation.
• Travel across the UK with occasional Europe travel.
• Liaise with customers on repairs and service requirements.
• Support facility and site maintenance activities.
• Drive continuous improvement with colleagues.
