Job summary

Triumph is seeking a Calibration Engineer to develop future motorcycle models and expand into global markets. You will work on advanced engine control systems, including Drive-by-Wire and traction control, ensuring compliance with emissions standards while delivering high-performance calibration.

The role requires strong engine knowledge, analytical skills, and a methodical calibration approach. Flexible working is available, with a supportive benefits package including pension and employee

Qualifications

  • GCSE Maths & English at C/4+ or equivalent.
  • Higher-level engineering qualification or direct experience with engine management calibration.

Responsibilities

  • Produce ECU calibrations for motorcycles.
  • Emissions testing on motorcycles.
  • Test vehicle evaporative emissions.
  • Collect logged data of system operation.
  • Evaluate drivability and system functions.

We’re looking for a skilled Calibration Engineer or Senior Calibration Engineer to support the development of our future motorcycle model ranges and expansion into global market. You will contribute to the development of advanced engine control systems, including Drive-by-Wire and traction control, while helping deliver compliance with evolving emissions standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Strong understanding of engines
  • Basic electrical knowledge,
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Methodical approach to calibration
  • Maths & English GCSE (C/4+) plus higher-level engineering qualifications or direct experience in the calibration and application of engine management systems.
