Job summary

Contract Personnel Limited is recruiting for a Cake Finisher & Decorator / Flow Wrapper to join the Holt production team in Holt, Norfolk. The role is on a Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm schedule, initially temporary with potential for permanent conversion.

Responsibilities include finishing cakes, decorating sponge loaves and brownies, and operating a flow wrap machine to ensure freshness and presentation. A fast-paced environment with strict hygiene standards is expected.

The Opportunity

Our client is a modern and exciting online cake business producing a fantastic range of cakes and baked goods, sold directly to customers through their website and through a network of wholesalers across the UK.

We are currently recruiting for a Cake Finisher & Decorator / Flow Wrapper to join their production team in Holt on a temporary-to-permanent basis.

The Role

• Finishing Miniature Baby Sponge Cakes with buttercream.
• Finishing and decorating Sponge Loaves.
• Finishing and preparing brownies.
• Operating a flow wrap machine to package cakes and help maintain freshness.
• Ensuring products are finished and presented to a consistently high standard.
• Working quickly and efficiently to meet daily production requirements.
• Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and food hygiene.
• Following all company health & safety and food production procedures.
• Carrying out any other reasonable duties as required.

About You

• Has excellent speed and dexterity when working with food products.
• Has an exceptional eye for detail.
• Takes pride in producing high-quality, consistently finished products.
• Is comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Has experience operating a flow wrapping machine or similar machinery.
• Is reliable, hardworking and punctual.
• Can work well as part of a team.
• Has a good understanding of food hygiene and maintaining a clean working environment.
• Previous experience in cake decorating, bakery production, food manufacturing or flow wrapping would be beneficial.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

No weekend working is required.
