Job summary

Opaa! Food Management is seeking a flexible kitchen assistant to prepare breakfast and/or lunch offerings, assist serving lines, and help with occasional catering. You will perform all positions within the kitchen and help maintain safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities include meal prep according to menu plans, operating kitchen equipment, stocking supplies, and presenting items attractively to customers while following HACCP and team guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or related experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and follow recipes.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced food service environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines daily and ensure food is held at proper temperatures.
• Prepare foods according to menu plan and Opaa! recipes; plan ahead for next day menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders and other equipment with proper certification.
