Job summary

Tesco Cafes is looking for a Team Member to join our cafe team. You will be involved in cooking, serving customers, and maintaining high hygiene and safety standards to ensure every customer experience lives up to our menu promises.

Responsibilities include keeping equipment clean, serving quickly, following health and safety regulations, FIFO stock rotation, accepting deliveries, and supporting a fast-paced, friendly cafe environment.

• Serve customers quickly, efficiently and with care.
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations while keeping daily records.
• Rotate stock using FIFO to keep food fresh.
• Accept deliveries and store food safely.
• Adhere to all operational policies and procedures.
• Prepare, cook and serve food according to the cafe menu.
• Ensure standards and availability of all food products.
• Know the cafe menu inside out and serve as intended.
• Resolve customer complaints and relay to Café Manager.
• Stay updated with business communications and new initiatives.
• Clear and sanitise tables to keep the cafe clean.
