Job summary

Tesco Café is seeking a friendly Team Member to join our café team in Wales. You will help with cooking, serving customers, and keeping the café area clean while following safety standards. The role offers flexible hours and opportunities for progression within our Tesco Cafes network.

You’ll need a proactive attitude, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a busy setting, making each customer experience enjoyable and efficient within our great workplace family.

Qualifications

• Hospitality experience preferred
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible hours and shifts available

Responsibilities

• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations and keep daily records
• Rotate stock FIFO to keep food fresh
• Assist with deliveries and safe storage of food
• Prepare, cook, and serve food according to the menu
• Maintain high standards and ensure availability of all items
• Address customer requests and escalate to Café Manager as needed
• Support with general café operations and keep equipment and tables clean
