Job summary

Morrisons is seeking a Café Team Leader to support day-to-day café operations and champion great customer service. You will help lead the team to deliver high standards, manage daily tasks, and drive sales while maintaining safety and cleanliness across the cafe.

The role focuses on delivering BREW standards, responding to customer needs, and working closely with store managers to ensure smooth, compliant operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering excellent customer service.
• Ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Experience supporting or leading a team.
• Strong operational knowledge of a café or hospitality environment.
• Positive attitude and genuine passion for helping customers.
• Awareness of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high café and BREW standards, ensuring full operational compliance.
• Provide outstanding customer service across all café touchpoints.
• Coordinate daily activities and communication within the café.
• Identify opportunities for improvement using data and customer feedback.
• Work closely with managers and colleagues to drive sales and achieve store targets.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety and food safety standards.
• Respond quickly to customer queries and resolve issues effectively.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and stock control.
• Minimise waste through careful handling and stock management.
• Complete all tasks and procedures in line with company policies.
