Job summary

Dwr Cymru Cyf in Wales is seeking a hands-on Café Supervisor to oversee daily operations, lead the team, and deliver high-quality food and service in a welcoming environment for visitors and colleagues.

You will supervise staff, work with the kitchen, manage stock, hygiene checks, and cash handling, and support scheduling and training. Requirements include Food Hygiene Level 3, DBS check, and experience in hospitality.

Qualifications

• Current Food Hygiene Level 3 minimum certification.
• Satisfactory DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise café employees, ensuring high service standards and food presentation.
• Work with the kitchen team to prepare and serve food to agreed standards.
• Manage daily operations including stock control, hygiene checks and cash handling.
• Support the Café Manager with scheduling, training and team development.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive environment for guests and team members.
• Uphold health and safety standards and comply with food regulations.
