Reporting to the Regional Catering Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day running of our café, ensuring smooth operations, excellent customer service, and a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and colleagues alike. This is a hands-on role where you'll lead by example, supporting the team to deliver high-quality food and drink in a friendly, efficient manner - both front of house and in the kitchen. What You'll Do 1. Supervise café employees, ensuring high standards of service and food presentation. 2. Work alongside the kitchen team to prepare and serve food to agreed standards. 3. Manage daily operations, including stock control, hygiene checks, and cash handling. 4. Support the Café Manager with scheduling, training, and team development. 5. The role requires availability to work school holdiays, weekends and bank holidays, with an expectation of working approximately one day each weekend on average. Additional flexibility may be required during particularly busy operational periods. Where additional hours are worked beyond contracted requirements, employees will be entitled to time off in lieu (TOIL) in accordance with company procedures.
