SmartRecruiters, Inc. seeks an energetic supervisor to support the daily operations of a vibrant cafe inside a flagship site in Foxton, Cambridge.

You will help deliver excellent service, lead a passionate team, and assist the General Manager with hands-on and administrative tasks. This fast-paced, customer-facing role is perfect for someone who loves great coffee and thrives with a structured weekday schedule.

Qualifications

• Proven hospitality/supervisor experience.
• Experience with MS Office; Saffron is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Operational Oversight: manage daily cafe operations, opening/closing, food prep, cleanliness.
• Barista Duties: prepare high-quality coffee and hot drinks quickly.
• Leadership and Management: lead, motivate and manage a team.
• Sales and Profitability: support GM to drive sales and profitability.
• Customer Service: provide friendly and efficient service.
• Food Service: work with chefs for smooth prep and basic handling.
• Events & Hospitality: support events/hospitality team as needed.
• Admin Support: assist GM with stock, ordering, compliance, reporting.
• Operational Excellence: maintain cleanliness, health & safety, hygiene.
• POS: support till operations and basic financial procedures.
