Job summary

Compass Group UK&I, operating One Retail venues, is seeking a part-time Cafe Supervisor to oversee daily operations and maintain high service standards. The role is 24 hours per week with variable shifts, offering opportunities to learn and progress within a leading hospitality employer.

You will lead a frontline team, manage deliveries, rota planning, stock ordering, and ensure food handling and health and safety compliance while delivering friendly, efficient customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising frontline teams in a similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Checking deliveries and storing them promptly and correctly.
• Supervising a team and creating a welcoming environment.
• Being a responsible key holder.
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and other duties as needed.
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines.
• Placing orders to maintain stock levels.
• Delegating tasks and keeping the team proactive.
• Complying with food handling and hygiene standards.
• Complying with health and safety regulations.
