Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is hiring a Cafe Supervisor for the Costa brand in the UK. This full-time role (35 hours per week) requires strong leadership to keep health, safety and food safety standards across each shift while maintaining brand procedures and inviting customer engagement.

You will lead shifts, coach Baristas/CSAs, manage stock, support opening/closing, and ensure high service quality with a focus on upselling and audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Health and safety and food safety standards maintained on every shift
• Lead by example; ensure colleagues follow procedures
• Complete opening/closing procedures; monitor stock and deliveries
• Coach and develop Baristas/CSAs; support induction and training
• Deliver excellent customer service and upsell to drive sales
• Follow profit protection procedures and cash handling
• Maintain brand standards and audit readiness
