Job summary

Morrisons is seeking a proactive Café Manager for our Stevenston store. You’ll lead a busy café team, deliver outstanding service, manage shift rotas, and maintain stock and food safety standards to keep customers happy.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you’ll drive performance, develop colleagues, and ensure the café runs smoothly while hitting daily sales targets and delivering a warm, welcoming customer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and supporting a team in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proven ability to plan shifts, train staff, and manage daily priorities.

Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you’ll bring a proactive approach to running a welcoming, vibrant Café. You’ll lead your team to deliver outstanding service, keep stock availability high, and make sure every customer leaves happy.

In this role, you’ll be on hand to:

• Put customers first: Empower your team to deliver friendly, attentive service, listening to customer feedback to make sure our Café is always a warm, welcoming place to pop by.
• Lead and support your team: Manage shift rotas, attendance, and talent development, delivering training so colleagues have the confidence to succeed and grow.
• Drive performance and standards: Lead an encouraging, performance-driven department, guiding colleagues to work with purpose against all operational and sales targets.
• Keep operations running smoothly: Plan resources thoroughly, manage daily team routines, and build strong working relationships with other store departments.
