Compass Group PLC is recruiting a Cafe Manager to join Vacherin on a full-time basis, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. You will run a busy food service operation, lead your team and ensure excellent food and service for every customer.

In this role you will manage catering teams, monitor KPIs, oversee budgets and health and safety standards, and provide coaching to help colleagues excel in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Management experience in a similar role.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Passion for great-tasting food and customer service.
• Solid financial acumen and budget awareness.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.

Responsabilités

• Lead catering teams to deliver impeccable food and service.
• Oversee operation, budgets, weekly returns, and action plans.
• Prepare high-quality food to the highest standards.
• Coach and develop teams, lead from the front.
• Communicate with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Implement and review Health & Safety standards across teams.

About the role

We're currently recruiting a Cafe Manager to join Vacherin on a full time basis, contracted to 37.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, days.

You'll run a busy food service operation, bringing out the best in your team and making sure every customer gets great food and service.

What you'll do

• Managing our catering teams to keep delivering impeccable food and customer service
• Overseeing the catering operation, including weekly business returns, budgets and action plans
• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards
• Supporting and training our teams, leading from the front so everyone can excel
• Communicating regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets
• Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards across all catering and service teams
