Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a Catering Manager to join CH&CO on a full-time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, days.

You'll lead the catering operation, from the kitchen to the counter, building a great team and delivering food and service our clients and customers love.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' catering experience, including managing teams.
• NVQ Level 1/2 or City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 and a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Strong financial awareness and ability to manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead our catering teams to deliver impeccable food and customer service.
• Oversee all in-unit catering operations, including stock, budgets and action plans.
• Support and train our teams, leading from the front so everyone can excel.
• Identify new food and service concepts to drive sales.
• Communicate regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Implement and review Health & Safety standards across all catering and service teams.

About The Role

You'll lead the catering operation, from the kitchen to the counter, building a great team and delivering food and service our clients and customers love.

What You'll Do

• Leading our catering teams to keep delivering impeccable food and customer service
• Overseeing all in-unit catering operations, including stock, budgets and action plans
• Supporting and training our teams, leading from the front so everyone can excel
• Identifying new food and service concepts to drive sales
• Communicating regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets
• Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards across all catering and service teams

About You

• Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service
• Have at least two years' catering experience, including managing teams
• Hold an NVQ Level 1 & 2 or City & Guilds 706/1 and 2, and a Basic Food Hygiene certificate
• Have strong financial awareness
• Have excellent communication and organisational skills
• Be ambitious and always looking to upskill
