Compass Group UK&I on CH&CO is recruiting a Catering Manager for London sites, 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday. You’ll lead the catering operation from kitchen to counter, build a strong team and deliver food and service clients love.

This role is contracted to 44.6 weeks per year; ideal candidate has at least two years catering experience with team management, holds NVQ Level 1/2 or City & Guilds 706/1 and 2, Basic Food Hygiene, and strong financial awareness and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading our catering teams to deliver impeccable food and customer service.
• Overseeing all in-unit catering operations, including stock, budgets and action plans.
• Supporting and training our teams, leading from the front so everyone can excel.
• Identifying new food and service concepts to drive sales.
• Communicating regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards across all catering and service teams.

About The Role

We're currently recruiting a Catering Manager to join CH&CO on a full time basis, contracted to 37.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, days.

You'll lead the catering operation, from the kitchen to the counter, building a great team and delivering food and service our clients and customers love.

Please note: This role is contracted to 44.6 weeks per year

What You'll Do

• Leading our catering teams to keep delivering impeccable food and customer service
• Overseeing all in-unit catering operations, including stock, budgets and action plans
• Supporting and training our teams, leading from the front so everyone can excel
• Identifying new food and service concepts to drive sales
• Communicating regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets
• Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards across all catering and service teams

About You

Our ideal Catering Manager will:

• Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service
• Have at least two years' catering experience, including managing teams
• Hold an NVQ Level 1 & 2 or City & Guilds 706/1 and 2, and a Basic Food Hygiene certificate
• Have strong financial awareness
• Have excellent communication and organisational skills
