Benugo, London\'s award-winning in-house caterer, is hiring a Café Assistant for the London Transport Museum. You will take orders, serve food and drinks, and ensure a friendly, high-standard guest experience while following food safety standards. Full training provided.

The role is onsite with a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Prior experience is not essential; a positive attitude, teamwork, and strong communication are valued.

We are looking for an experienced Cafe Assistant to join the team at London Transport Museum.

Benugo is the in-house caterers, we operate two cafes, all grab and go options, hot/cold beverages.

We Offer:

Rate: £14.80 per hour.

Shifts: 5 days out of 7/ Mon- Fri/ Weekends.

Contract: Full Time/ Temporary - 3 months.

About the Cafe Assistant role:

• Taking orders, serving food and drinks.
• Ensuring the customers experience is maintained at all times to the highest standard.
• Ensuring that food safety standards are followed at all times.

Experience isn’t essential, as full training will be provided. However, a smile, dedication to exceeding customer expectations, and being a great team player are essential.

Outstanding communication and guest service skills.

• Prior food service experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Barista (if already, however, full training will be provided).

Job Requirements

• Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting.
• Ability to operate equipment such as manual espresso machine, cash register, marie chef.
