Job summary

Tesco Cafés UK is hiring for front-line café staff to ensure high-quality food service and a clean, welcoming kitchen environment. You’ll support daily operations, serve customers with care, and help maintain health and safety standards across our cafés.

Responsibilities

• Keeping kitchen equipment and utensils clean and tidy.
• Serving customers quickly, efficiently and with care.
• Following food safety and hygiene regulations while keeping daily records.
• Practising FIFO stock rotation to keep our food fresh.
• Accepting deliveries and handling the safe storage of food.
• Being aware of and following all operational policies and procedures.
• Preparing, cooking, and serving food according to our cafés standards.
• Maintaining café standards and ensuring food products are available.
• Knowing the café menu inside and out and serving food as intended.
• Resolving customer complaints and passing information to the Café Manager.
