Job summary

Bannatyne Group in York is seeking a friendly Cafe Bar Assistant to welcome members, take orders, prepare drinks and light snacks, and keep the cafe bar area clean and well-stocked.

You will work as part of a dynamic team, support cash handling and health and safety standards, and enjoy perks such as flexible hours, complimentary meals, gym membership, and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or customer service is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve members and guests with a friendly attitude.
• Prepare and serve beverages and light snacks efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the cafe bar area.

• Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.

A typical day in the life of a Cafe Bar Assistant:

• Greet and serve members and guests with a friendly and positive attitude.
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages and light snacks efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the cafe bar area.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment.
