Job summary

Bimplus, a growing specialist HVAC and mechanical contractor based in Manchester, is recruiting a CAD Technician to support design and project teams by producing accurate technical drawings for commercial air conditioning, ventilation and building services projects.

You will produce 2D CAD drawings, update drawings through the project lifecycle, prepare layouts and installation drawings, and read consultant drawings to coordinate with design engineers and project managers.

Qualifications

• Experience as CAD Technician / Draughtsperson.
• Background in HVAC, mechanical or building services.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Revit experience would be an advantage.
• Mechanical or Building Services qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

The Candidate

• Experience as a CAD Technician / Draughtsperson
• Background in HVAC, mechanical or building services
• Strong AutoCAD skills
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings
• Good attention to detail
• Strong organisational skills
• Revit experience would be an advantage
• Mechanical or Building Services qualification desirable
