Job Role: CAD Technician (AutoCAD)

Location: or commutable from Leicester

Salary: £35,000 to £38,000 per annum DOE

The Company: You will be joining a creative design and manufacturing company specialising in creating retail environments for all types of brands.

The Role: To be responsible for the production of technical designs and process activity of the business.

The Candidate: Proficient in AutoCAD. Joinery background - essential. Excellent ability to interpret and read drawings. Manufacturing Engineer.

Responsibilities:

1. Aid the design process for each contract and ensure each design is within the legal framework defined by each contract.
2. Create detailed design and manufacturing drawings for components, assemblies, and large structures.
3. When appropriate, liaise directly with the customer concerning design parameters to ensure an accurate design specification.
4. Assist in the methodology for each project, and liaise where appropriate with sub-contractors to ensure the correct design and implementation of each project is agreed and understood by all parties.
