Job summary

MTrec Ltd Technical is seeking a CAD Technician to join their design team for bespoke engineering projects. The role focuses on 2D drawings and interpretation of client specifications to drive project success.

You will collaborate closely with project engineers and liaise with clients to ensure designs meet exact requirements. Ideal candidates will have AutoCAD 2D proficiency, 2+ years' experience, and a working knowledge of airflow/LEV systems.

Qualifications

• Experience/understanding of Airflow, LEV systems, vacuum/extraction or similar products is essential
• Experience working with sheet metal/metal-based manufacturing products is desirable
• 2+ years' experience in a similar role
• Proficiency with AutoCAD 2D
• IT literate (Microsoft Office)
• Good communicator at all levels
• Able to work well in a small team, and liaise effectively with clients and internal departments
