FI Real Estate Management is seeking a CAD Architectural Technician responsible for supporting the design team. The role demands practical and efficient design skills to maximize return on investment for our portfolio.

The CAD Architectural Technician will contribute to enabling FI Real Estate to:

• Delight clients through perfect design and first-time, snag-free delivery;
• Ensure team satisfaction by providing strong, timely communication and collaborative problem-solving;
• Meet financial objectives by understanding project costs and ensuring visions and ambitions are aligned and agreed upon.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Develop block plans, adjacency diagrams, and construction drawings;
• Liaise with subcontractors during design and construction;
• Survey building interiors;
• Prepare plans, specifications, and bid packages;
• Apply building and accessibility statutory requirements and manage planning and listed building applications;
• Manage detailed drawings;
• Coordinate with subcontractors and consultants;
• Attend site meetings as required;
• Produce as-built drawings;
• Create technical drawings (section, plan, elevation);
• Prioritize, plan, and meet deadlines efficiently;
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally;
• Adapt to fast-paced projects and team changes;
• Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills;
• Use AutoCAD to produce drawings and documentation;
• Contribute to high-end project design and delivery with precision and creativity;
• Manage project timelines and ensure quality outcomes;
• Complete work within given timeframes to high standards;
• Understand UK building regulations and planning policies;
• Conduct site visits for information gathering and compliance.

Experience:

• 2-3 years of industry experience preferred;
