Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a CAD Manager to lead a Civil Services CAD team on large-scale airfield, maritime and pavement projects in the UK and overseas. You will guide 2D/3D CAD output, mentor staff, and ensure high quality deliverables throughout the design lifecycle.

You will work with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Navisworks, coordinate with ProjectWise and ACC, and uphold CAD/BIM standards and safety requirements while collaborating with the engineering group.

Qualifications

• Extensive civil design project experience, airports, highways/pavement or maritime preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and related Civil 3D/Navisworks capabilities.
• Strong ability to produce high‑quality engineering drawings and detailing.
• Experience leading CAD teams and setting up templates/workflows.
• Familiar with BIM standards (PAS 1192, ISO 19650) and CDE platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead CAD Technicians in producing 2D/3D drawings for airfield, maritime and pavement projects.
• Quality check outputs to ensure consistency with CAD/BIM standards.
• Mentor and develop team members; provide guidance to Engineers/Managers.
• Collaborate with design teams across feasibility to construction stages.
• Set up project workflows/drawing templates to meet client needs.
