Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced CAD and GIS Technician to support geotechnical and geoenvironmental deliverables across major UK infrastructure projects. You will produce site layout plans, hole location plans, utility plans and cross sections, while managing geospatial data and maintaining CAD standards.

You will join a collaborative team driving ISO 19650 compliant workflows, with hybrid working options and opportunities to shape CAD and GIS practices across the Ground Assessment group.

Qualifications

HNC, HND, degree or equivalent in CAD, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, Surveying, GIS or related field.
Autodesk, GIS or information management qualifications are welcome.
Several years of CAD/GIS experience with strong AutoCAD/Civil 3D proficiency.

Responsibilities

Produce, manage and coordinate high-quality drawings for ground investigation and assessment projects.
Create site layout plans, hole location plans, utility plans and geological cross sections.
Manage and process geospatial information, survey data and datasets in line with ISO 19650.
