Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced CAD and GIS Technician to support geotechnical and geoenvironmental deliverables across major infrastructure projects in the UK. You will produce and manage site layout plans, hole locations, utility drawings and cross sections, while ensuring CAD standards and data governance per ISO 19650.

You will bring several years of AutoCAD/Civil 3D expertise, strong GIS knowledge and experience with geospatial datasets; familiarity with Leapfrog or Open Ground is

Qualifications

Degree or equivalent in CAD, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, Surveying, GIS or related.
Autodesk/GIS qualifications welcome.
Expert AutoCAD user with Civil 3D proficiency; strong GIS and data management knowledge.

Responsibilities

Produce, manage and coordinate high-quality drawings for ground investigation and ground assessment deliverables.
Create site layout plans, hole location plans, utility plans and cross sections; manage geospatial data and survey datasets.
Maintain drawing registers, CAD standards and quality procedures; work within common data environments per ISO 19650.
