Job summary

Stantec UK is seeking an experienced CAD and GIS Technician to support geotechnical and geoenvironmental deliverables across major infrastructure projects. You will produce site layout, hole location, utility plans and geological cross sections while managing geospatial data and maintaining CAD standards.

You will contribute to CAD standard development and workflows, ensure quality procedures, and work within common data environments to support multidisciplinary team collaboration.

Qualifications

HNC/HND or degree in CAD, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, Surveying, GIS or related discipline or equivalent experience.
Expert AutoCAD user with strong Civil 3D proficiency.
Solid understanding of GIS and geospatial measurement systems; familiarity with ISO 19650 and managed data environments.
Experience with Leapfrog/Open Ground is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Produce, manage and coordinate high-quality drawings for ground investigation and ground assessment deliverables.
Create site layouts, hole location plans, utility plans and geological cross sections and manage geospatial data and survey records.
Maintain drawing registers and ensure CAD standards and quality procedures are followed.
